Furry Friend Fund for Galaxy

As many of you may have already heard we have been in and out of the vets office, urgent care and the specialists offices for the better part of the last two weeks. We have finally been given a diagnosis. Which brings some relief. But also some added worries and concerns.

Good ole Galaxy has been diagnosed with stage two kidney disease. So while he is out of danger in the short run. It will also be an ongoing struggle with continued vet bills, dietary adjustments etc. These past two weeks alone have cost close to $5,000. This covered the cost of a good deal of emergency care, a multi day hospital stay and a half dozen diagnostic tests.

We both hesitated to go the route of fundraising. I know that Tink herself is endearingly stubborn and independant. It's not in her to ask for help.

So I'm reaching out to you all for help. I would do anything to help those I care about. Especially for the woman that is my best friend, my life partner and the most magical human I've ever met. But there is only so much I can do alone.

I'm reaching out to see if anyone else is willing to help make some magic? To help cover at least some of the bills that we've gathered up over the past few weeks. We still have a lot of ground to cover. But we hope and pray that the worst of it is behind us (and Galaxy). At least for the near future.
