My name is Susan Samboy, and I am raising funds for my friend Joy Olsen and her furbaby Daisy! Daisy had to have emergency surgery on 10/05/25 at AES Selden hospital. My friend Joy has cancer in remission; she has NO help for the surgery that AES performed on 10/05 and owes the hospital an outstanding balance for the surgery of money owed! Joy has NO money; she is on disability/social security and can’t afford the surgery balance. Joy has NO family, all deceased, and NO children to help her. It’s not a lot that I’m asking for $10, $20, $50, $100 please to help Joy out at this desperate time in her life. There will also be aftercare for Daisy, her beautiful furbaby that she loves and adores. Joy lives alone in a small studio apartment with Daisy; both of them could use a little sunshine in their lives! Joy lost her other furbaby in the pictures, Lola (the light tan one), 3 1/2 weeks ago, and Daisy is very lost without her! It’s a very sad story; that’s why I’m doing this GoFundMe page to try and bring some spiritual light back into both of their hearts! Joy doesn’t need the burden of owing that much money right now and follow-up aftercare for Daisy! We don’t expect bad things to happen. Daisy had a bowel obstruction and needed the emergency surgery, or she wouldn’t have made it. Thank God for AES Selden hospital for their love, compassion, and care at a very delicate time in Joy’s life! And thank you to all of you who are going to donate after hearing this heartbreaking story of a mom and her furbaby she loves unconditionally.
