ich bin Willy und ich sammle Spenden für meinen Bruder Viktor.

Viktor ist 44 Jahre alt, liebevoller Ehemann und Vater von zwei Kindern.

Vor wenigen Monaten hat ein schwerer epileptischer Anfall sein Leben – und das unserer Familie – komplett auf den Kopf gestellt. Im Krankenhaus kam nach MRT und weiteren Untersuchungen die furchtbare Diagnose: Glioblastom WHO Grad 4, ein besonders aggressiver und gefährlicher Gehirntumor.

Die erste Operation ist zum Glück gut verlaufen. Aktuell befindet er sich in Bestrahlungs- und Chemotherapie. Das ist körperlich und mental extrem fordernd – aber er zieht das durch.

Und trotzdem wissen wir: Mit Operation und Standardtherapie allein ist es nicht getan. Gerade bei dieser Diagnose geht es darum, danach die richtigen Schritte zu gehen.

Eine Option, die uns besonders viel Hoffnung gibt, ist eine personalisierte Immunpeptid-Therapie am Zentrum für Humangenetik in Tübingen unter der Leitung von Dr. Saskia Biskup. Dabei wird das Tumorgewebe genetisch analysiert, um individuelle Peptide herzustellen, die das Immunsystem gezielt darauf trainieren sollen, verbliebene Tumorzellen zu erkennen und anzugreifen.

Dieser Ansatz gilt international als wissenschaftlich sehr spannend und innovativ.

Diese Therapie ist allerdings keine Kassenleistung.

Die Behandlungen inklusive notwendiger medizinischer und organisatorischer Begleitung, Diagnostik, Nachbehandlung, Reisen sowie Unterkunft und Verpflegung über mehrere Monate, bewegen wir uns insgesamt voraussichtlich in einem Rahmen zwischen 60.000 und 100.000 Euro.

Neben allem, was ohnehin schon an medizinischen und organisatorischen Belastungen anfällt, ist das für eine Familie kaum allein zu stemmen.

Die Spenden fließen ausschließlich in diese Immuntherapie und die begleitenden Maßnahmen. Wir werden transparent mit jedem Schritt umgehen.

Viktor ist kein Mensch, der aufgibt. Er ist jemand, der immer für andere da ist. Jetzt kämpft er für sich – und vor allem für seine Kinder. Für Zeit. Für Erinnerungen. Für gemeinsame Jahre, die noch kommen sollen.

Hi everyone,

My name is Willy, and I’m raising funds for my brother Viktor.

Viktor is 44 years old, a loving husband and father of two.

A few months ago, a severe epileptic seizure turned his life — and ours as a family — completely upside down.

After an MRI and further examinations, he received the devastating diagnosis: Glioblastoma WHO Grade 4, a particularly aggressive and dangerous brain tumor.

His first surgery fortunately went well. He is currently undergoing radiation and chemotherapy. It is physically and mentally extremely demanding — but he is pushing through.

And yet we know: surgery and standard therapy alone are not enough. With this diagnosis, what truly matters is taking the right next steps.

One option that gives us significant hope is a personalized immunopeptide therapy at the Center for Human Genetics in Tübingen under the direction of Dr. Saskia Biskup. In this approach, the tumor tissue is genetically analyzed to create individualized peptides designed to train the immune system to specifically recognize and attack remaining tumor cells.

This approach is considered internationally innovative and scientifically very promising.

However, this therapy is not covered by health insurance.

The treatment itself, including the necessary medical and organizational support, diagnostics, follow-up care, travel, accommodation and living expenses over several months with total expected cost likely to range between €60,000 and €100,000.

Alongside everything else that comes with this diagnosis, this is an immense financial burden for one family to carry alone.

All donations will go exclusively toward this immunotherapy and the associated measures. We are committed to full transparency regarding every step.

Viktor is not someone who gives up. He is someone who has always been there for others. Now he is fighting for himself — and above all, for his children. For time. For memories. For the years we hope are still ahead.
