Hallo, ich bin Shamim, die einzige Tochter von Naser. Mein Papa ist erst 71 Jahre alt und war immer voller Lebensfreude - sein größter Wunsch war es immer, dass ich glücklich bin.

Wir leben schon seit 7 Jahren getrennt voneinander – ich bin damals ganz allein zum Studium nach Deutschland gekommen, um mir hier eine Zukunft aufzubauen, während meine Eltern in ihrer Heimat geblieben sind.

Vor sechs Jahren wurde bei meinem Papa Parkinson diagnostiziert. Vor zwei Monaten ist er gestürzt und musste sich einer Hüftoperation unterziehen. Seit diesem Unfall hat sich seine Krankheit stark verschlechtert – er kann weder laufen noch sprechen oder schlucken und wird derzeit über eine Nasensonde ernährt.

Aufgrund einer Lungenentzündung musste er einen ganzen Monat im Krankenhaus bleiben; diese Kosten hat die Versicherung übernommen. Leider übernimmt sie jedoch nicht die Kosten für die häusliche Pflege.

Meine Mama kann sich nicht allein um ihn kümmern. Er braucht rund um die Uhr eine Pflegekraft zu Hause, dazu Schluckstörungstherapie, Sprachtherapie und Physiotherapie – all das kostet sehr viel Geld, das wir uns nicht leisten können.

Seine Krankheit ist inzwischen weit fortgeschritten, und er liegt nun durchgehend im Bett. Da ich so weit weg von meiner Familie lebe, ist das Einzige, was ich für meinen Papa tun kann, ihn und meine Mama aus der Ferne mit eurer Hilfe finanziell zu unterstützen.

Ich hoffe von ganzem Herzen, dass mein Papa noch lange genug lebt, um meine Hochzeit zu erleben.

Hello, I'm Shamim, Naser's only daughter. My dad is only 71 years old and has always been full of life – his greatest wish was always for me to be happy.

We've been living apart for seven years now – I came to Germany all by myself to study and build a future here, while my parents stayed in their home country.

Six years ago, my dad was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. Two months ago, he fell and had to have hip surgery. Since the accident, his condition has deteriorated significantly – he can neither walk, speak, nor swallow and is currently fed through a nasogastric tube.

Due to pneumonia, he had to stay in the hospital for a whole month; the insurance covered these costs. Unfortunately, however, it does not cover the costs of his home care.

My mother cannot care for him alone. He needs round-the-clock care at home, as well as swallowing therapy, speech therapy, and physical therapy—all of which costs a great deal of money that we cannot afford.

His illness has progressed significantly, and he is now bedridden. Since I live so far away from my family, the only thing I can do for my father is to support him and my mother financially from afar with your help.

I sincerely hope that my dad lives long enough to experience my wedding.
