Help Fur and Feathers get to their new home

UPDATE: Bromsgrove District Council received a complaint about our plans, and contacted us to tell us that if we attempted to do so much as put up stock fencing, they would be taking them down. After much back-and-forth, it became painfully obvious that there was no way we would be allowed to build the sanctuary on the lane. We are beyond devastated. We are now back to square one - saving up to purchase our own land, and in the meantime running a foster-based model for cat rescue. Please keep talking and donating when possible - we desperately need land again! UPDATE: We now have a new home! We have accepted an generous offer of land in Burcot (near Bromsgrove). We are beyond thrilled, but we now need to set-up from scratch. We need fencing, new pens, gravel, hardcore, sleepers etc Please keep donating where you can UPDATE: Since starting this GoFundMe we have been officially evicted. Now we begin the task of dismantling over a decades worth of work. 2022 was a tough year for us at Fur and Feathers. We suffered a senseless and devestating break-in leaving our property damaged, animals traumatised and all of us badly shaken. We are all volunteers at Fur and Feathers, and put our hearts and souls into the sanctuary. To see our hard-work destroyed and several cats missing broke our hearts. The sanctuary was once a place of happiness, and whilst our wonderful supporters and community helped us to repair what was broken, we no longer feel safe at our current site. To add insult to injury, we found out in the following days that our land (that we currently rent) had been earmarked for development. Staying put is no longer an option for us. We are currently in the process of finding ourselves a brand new home, to continue our work - and grow bigger and better. But to do this we need your help!
