Irish Cancer Society
Donation protected
Unfortunately last year my mum passed away on the 6th of August. The Irish Cancer Society supported us throught their Daffodil Day Nurses Programme. The Irish Cancer Society Daffodil Centres provide in-person, one-on-one cancer information, support and advice in local hospitals across Ireland. We were fortunate to receive support from their centre in Cork City. The nurses came every night at 11 and stayed with us till 7 the following morning. The specialist nurses provided both practical information and emotional support.
Therefore I am going to run the Charleville Half Marathon on Sunday the 15th of September to support the Irish Cancer Society as they provide invaluable support to so many families. I would greatly appreciate any donation to support this cause.
Thanks again
