On September 17, 2018, Joey Crumpton revved up his engine and headed to heaven to cruise the streets of gold. In life, Joey was a devout husband, father and friend. He served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1993 to 1997. After leaving the service he began working as a mechanic, which ultimately became his passion. Joey was a motorcycle enthusiast spending hours riding, working on and building custom bikes. He will be remembered for his infectious laugh, caring heart and willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need. He is survived in death by his loving wife Stacy, daughter Courtney, mother Chris Brymer, father Joe and step-mother Jenie, brother Michael, sister Brandi Rouser and family, grandmother Freeda Crumpton-Brewer, step-brothers Jason and Josh Hamilton; as well as mother and father-in-law Ricky and Carla Petty, brother-in-law Craig and wife Elita Petty, as well as many nieces and nephews and one great-niece. Joey was preceded in death by his Papa Murray Crumpton.
Funeral services and visitation will be held at Coker-Mathews Funeral home located at 5100 Interstate Highway 30 East, Greenville, TX 75402. Visitation will be Thursday September 20th from 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. at Coker-Mathews chapel on Friday September 21st. The family requests casual attire and for bikers to wear Harley shirts if possible.
All donation go to the family to help with any expenses they may incur
during this time .
