It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gloria Aguilar, devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. Gloria passed away due to lung cancer on January 25th 2024. She was 80 year's old. Her sudden death was very unexpected as she had recently done so well and her disease had seemed to be under control. It was a shock to us all when she ended up in the hospital with a pulmonary embolism and rapidly declined.

Gloria was born in Williams Arizona moved to Albuquerque, NM as a teenager and then to Los Angeles as a young adult. She married and raised her family in West Covina, CA. And spent many year's as a stay at home Mom. She started her career in Real Estate a bit later in life and retired at the age of 65. Gloria was an avid cook who shared her New Mexico style recipes and dishes with family and friends. She cherished spending time around the dinner table with everyone. She loved music and always had it playing. Experiencing live music especially Latin jazz, was also one of the things she enjoyed most. She made so many wonderful friends while out enjoying her self in this way.

Due to Gloria's passing being so sudden and unexpected, arrangements for her memorial services unfortunately have not been pre-arranged.

We feel very fortunate and blessed to have so many people who are reaching out to us to offer support and words of encouragement. Many have asked about a "Go Fund Me" as a way to help. Any small donations are greatly appreciated and would help alleviate some of the financial burden.
