Funkyverse, founded in June 2023, is a Toronto street dance crew dedicated to

showcasing original styles like locking, waacking, and popping. Our talented dancers are committed to excelling in the world of street dance.

From Canadian Champions to the Global Stage!

In March 2024, Funkyverse won gold at the Hip Hop International (HHI) Canadian

finals, advancing to the world finals. HHI is a premier global platform for hip-hop

dance, drawing participants from 55+ countries. Competing at this level allows

Funkyverse to represent Toronto's street dance culture worldwide and foster

community growth at home
