Feel the groove, get inspired, and join FUNKEEPUP—where self-expression rules and everyone belongs.

FUNKEEPUP is a celebration of funk culture through dance, music, and community. Organized by students from the Performing Arts Management track at IESA Arts & Culture, this event brings together dancers, DJs, and creatives to keep the groove alive—and pass it on.

We’re collaborating with the Paris-based association Bring Your Soul, co-founded by Jimmy Soul and Léonie, who have been actively nurturing the next generation of funk lovers through workshops, community events, and education.

From electrifying dance showcases, an immersive locking workshop, to a DJ set that’ll make you move, we’ve curated a lineup that’s all about rhythm, joy, and transmission.

Our Vision

1. Celebrate and preserve funk culture through an intergenerational and inclusive lens.

2. Provide a stage for emerging young dancers and seasoned artists to connect, exchange, and inspire.

3. Share the values of freedom and inclusiveness with a wider public.
