Funkadelic Studios Intern Fund

Funkadelic Studio has been proudly serving the music community in New York for over 25 years, providing a safe place for local artists to convene and create together. A large part of our success over the years has come from the assistance of our intern team, who work tirelessly to make sure that not only each room in the studio is tailored to the artist's specifications, but that the artists who come through are helped with any number of needs they may have. We train our interns in everything, from general upkeep to social media outreach, to technical and gear repair and maintenance, in hope that they will take these skills and apply them to their future endeavors as well.

Unfortunately, due to the outbreak, the studio has not been able to help the interns as much as we wish to. Some come from very financially difficult situations, and many are musicians and artists in the local scene. A few have had canceled gigs, ranging from local club dates to national festivals. ALL of them have been impacted though, and we would like to assist them in as we always have tried too.

We understand that you have a variety of options to pick from when it comes to organizations to donate to, but we hope that you will consider helping the studio and its interns in the same way they may have helped you in the past.
