Hi, my name is Rob Clarke. I am a former member of parliament and RCMP member, having worked with aboriginal communities and a band member of Muskeg Lake First nations. Today, September 4th, a tragic event occurred in which ten individuals were murdered and 15 injured. This is a sad and shocking event Mourning will be a challenging process for all. As a result, the costs are astronomical, from funeral costs to hospital and family expenses to long-term rehab and counseling. Many community members and families will need assistance. Any assistance from thoughts and prayers to money will be greatly appreciated.

I want to note on a personal note that I have been very vocal about PTSD in the past when I was a member of Parliament and also as a Police Officer. If you have any questions, please look at my Facebook site. I will update this as often as possible with recommendations I have been receiving from all of you. These funds will be directed to James Smith Cree Nation for the Victims and the Victims' families.

I would like to sincerely like to thank everyone that sent there condolences and kind donations. The funding objective was met very quickly. I ask that no more funds be directed to this account as it will be closed very soon. The administration will be setting up a trust fund in the very near future and I will update accordingly, if anyone would still like to contribute.
