Funeral/Memorial Service for Rafael Mendez

This is a post I never thought I’d have to write. The day that we have been dreading has finally come and my Dad, my Love has gone to be with our Father & to be reunited with his loved ones that left before him. Knowing that he is no longer in pain nor suffering is the only consolation I have. I miss him so much already and I know that nothing or no one will ever fill the void that he has left in our hearts.

My very humble and hard working parents always lived paycheck to paycheck and as much as they tried to plan for the future and a time like this, it was not enough.

Many people have reached out and asked how they can help or if there is anything they can do for myfamily & I and as awkward and difficult as this topicis, at this time what my family needs most is financial support. Anything and everything is so helpful and so appreciated. We will be forever grateful!

If you know me, you know that this is something that I could never do nor did I ever think that that I’d ever have to do but as much as my family and I can help, we still fall short of all the expenses that come after someone passes away.

I also ask for prayers, prayers, & even more prayers. God is the only one that will help us through all of this and all that’s to come. Specifically I ask for prayer for peace, strength and comfort for me and all of my family especially my mom.

I love you and I thank every single one of you for your love, thoughts, support, & generosity during thisincredibly difficult time.
