My mother, role model, and hero left this earth on Sunday morning June 5th 2022. It’s with a heavy heart that I share the news of my mothers passing. She left behind 3 daughters and a son, a loving husband, and 4 grandchildren with one on the way. My mother was an incredible warrior woman. She was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer April 27th 2021 and was only given 4 months to live. However, God let us have her for 13 months. We fought as a family as hard as we possibly could. We did countless treatments, different hospitals, doctors, diets, supplements and exercises and meditation and we just weren’t successful. But I strongly believe that God took her from us very slowly and gently through these 13 months so that we could learn to slowly let her go. It hurts either way, a pain that is indescribable and that nothing can ever console. But I think God knew that if he took her suddenly, our family would have not been able to survive this. She suffered immensely her last 2 days on this earth. But even hours before her passing, she still told us she didn’t want to give up. She wanted to keep fighting. And she NEVER gave up. She NEVER surrendered to this cancer. Her earthly body could not fight it, but her spirit always did. And now she is cancer free. Her body here on earth may still have the tumors but her spirit does not and she is finally free of her hurt and suffering. What my family and I would love most is to hold a beautiful ceremony, that celebrates the kind of woman that she was. The most tender, loving, kind and giving human being. Tough when she needed to be. She may have been the tiniest person but she was a strong warrior of God. We believe that she is in the heavens now worshipping our Lord and waiting for us until we meet again.
