Funeral Expenses for Doreen Arwood

If you've ever been to a festival, community meeting, or Jaycee event in Redford Township, you have seen the tireless Doreen "Momma Doe" Arwood working her magic and making everyone smile.   Doreen had a heart of gold and whether you were family, a friend, or just a soul in need of a hug, she would give you everything she had. 

In a weekend that began with Doreen and her family at the Redford Relay for Life event and that was supposed to end with a trip down Beech Daly in the Memorial Day Parade on the Fesitival Committee float, Doreen was taken from this world unexpectedly.   There is a hole in our hearts, and the community will mourn the loss of this wonderful, giving woman.

I have created this GoFundMe account with the support of Doreen's husband, JT, and daughter, Selena, to assist in the costs of the funeral and final expenses.  All money donated will go directly to these costs, with any extra funds, if any, going to support Selena and Doreen's community passions.  Please consider donating even the smallest amount to make this tragic event just a little easier for JT and Selena.
