FUNERAL EXPENSES FOR CALEB

UPDATE 7-31-2024:

Caleb (Junior) gained his angel wings on 7/31/24 at 12:18pm. He fought a long hard battle and we want to give him the funeral he deserves.

Hi, my name is Dianne, and I am raising funds for my cousin, Vanessa, and her son, Caleb.

Caleb is 10 years old and was born deaf. He became severely sick in November 2023 and was rushed to the hospital in Abilene. The same night, Caleb was taken by ambulance to Children’s Medical Center in Dallas where he underwent various testing and had several blood transfusions.

Ultimately, Caleb was transferred to Cooks Children’s Medical Center in Ft Worth where he was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Lukemia with Monosomy 7, a very rare type of cancer. He underwent several rounds of chemo, and fortunately, his big sister was a bone marrow match! Caleb had a bone marrow transplant on March 20, 2024.

However, Caleb experienced complications after the transplant, and was admitted to ICU on April 8, 2024 where he was intubated. He is still fighting for his life and has a long road ahead.

More than anything, we are asking for prayers for healing and to restore Caleb to his funny, loving, TikToking self. We are also asking for donations to help Caleb’s mother and family. Vanessa is Caleb’s full time caregiver and unable to work while Caleb remains hospitalized. Your donation will help with food, clothes, living expenses, travel expenses, and medical bills.
