Dear friends & family, my name is Nick Caple and I’m the youngest child of my father Kenneth Caple. I am writing to you today to inform you about the tragic loss of life of my father who passed away on August 27th while on duty. My dad dedicated his life to the railroad for as long as I’ve been alive. He was on his last lap towards retirement and I’m saddened that he wasn’t able to get there. My family is devastated by his sudden passing, and while we go through the procedures of gaining access to everything he had worked so hard for any money donated will go towards the immediate costs. This will consist of the his transportation from the Los Angeles mortuary back to Apple Valley, aswell as his viewing and funeral.
