It is with Deep Sadness,
We Announce the Passing of Our Beloved Mom:
Mrs. Luina Nduati
Today, with heavy hearts, we announce that our dear mother, Mrs. Luina Maole Nduati, has peacefully come to rest after a difficult and brave battle with brain cancer.
Her journey has been deeply painful. In just one year after the loss of our beloved father on 24.03.2024, Mom was overwhelmed with grief and sank into a deep depression. 3 Months later, she began experiencing severe headaches and after undergoing several CT/PET scans, doctors confirmed our greatest fear: (She was suspected with Glioblastoma symptoms and that was already significantly affecting her state of being.
She was urgently admitted to a Tanzanian National Hospital and began immediate treatment. Unfortunately, the tumor spread fast and was confirmed to be at Stage 4 on 31.12.2024, this caused multiple strokes, which further complicating her condition. Though she fought valiantly, the illness progressed too far.
Through this storm, she remained full of grace, strength, and quiet courageous. Her heart never fully healed after Dad’s passing, and now, she is finally reunited with him. Though our hearts are shattered, we find some peace in knowing they are together again.
As we prepare to bring Mom back home to Kenya to honor her with the respect and farewell she deserves, we humbly appeal for your kind support.
We are currently working to:
- Airlift her body to Kenya and clear customs
- Maintain her body in the Mortuary until all the burial day
- Clear the outstanding hospital and medical bills
- Arrange a respectful burial at her final resting place
