I am fundraising for my friend who lost his brother recently. He says:

My oldest brother Joseph McNaughton was found dead in Paisley on the 23rd of January this year at just 46 years old. Joseph had spent much of his life battling addiction and serious mental health conditions, as well as three separate knife attacks over his lifetime. Despite this, Joseph was one of the most loving, supporting and funny people I have ever known. Though Joseph had many of his own battles, he was fiercely loyal and loving with his family, particularly our mum, who has been left broken by his loss.

Since Joseph's passing, we have been waiting for more information on what happened, and from what we know at the moment, Joseph’s death was not one in which he suffered.

I am raising money to support my parents and pay for Joseph’s funeral. Any excess will be donated Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol and Drugs (https://www.sfad.org.uk/). Life was often cruel to Joseph, but death should never be cruel for anyone.
