I’m starting this fundraiser for my best friend Damita and her husband Eric after the sudden loss of their 24-year-old daughter Destiney. She passed away when a cyst on her brain erupted and caused a brain bleed. They are now facing the heartbreaking task of laying their daughter to rest while trying to process a loss that came far too soon.

Damita and Eric are devastated. Damita and her Destiney were very close, and this loss has left Damita feeling deeply lost. After the tube was removed, she fainted and had to go to the ER herself. This family has already been through so much. They previously lost another daughter, my friend is living with MS, and her husband recently beat cancer.

They did not have life insurance, so the funds raised will go toward funeral expenses. They are hoping to have the funeral within the next week if possible, which makes this need urgent.
