In Loving Memory of José Daniel Rivera Quintana – Help Us Bring Him Home

On February 28, 2026, our beloved José Daniel Rivera Quintana, age 19, was tragically killed in a fiery crash on I-66 near Manassas, Virginia, at 3:13 pm. José was a joyful, kind, and loving young man with his whole life ahead of him. He attended Unity Reed High School and was expected to graduate this year — a milestone he worked so hard for and looked forward to with pride.

José lived with his dad's brother and his family here in the United States and brought happiness to everyone who knew him. His warm smile, generous spirit, and gentle heart touched so many lives. Losing him has been devastating for our family.

We are raising funds to cover funeral and repatriation costs so that José can rest in peace in his homeland, Guatemala, where his family still lives and where he belongs. We want to honor his memory and give him a dignified farewell surrounded by loved ones.
