My grieving niece and adoptive daughter needs help paying for her son Don'Vyaire Avita-Mays' funeral after this heartbreaking loss. Don'Vyaire was born on October 26, 2025, and passed away on October 24, 2026, just two days before his first birthday. He was a handsome little boy whose laugh was infectious, whose smile could light up any room, and who was loved by so many.

His passing was tragic. During a Halloween outing with his mother and two sisters, part of a balloon animal became lodged in his throat. His mother attempted lifesaving measures, CPR was performed, and he could not be saved.

She is pregnant and grieving while also trying to make funeral arrangements, and the stress of carrying all of this at once has been overwhelming for her. Please also keep his mother, Kisha Avitia-Wilson, and his sisters, Da'Niyah and Da'Nylah, in your prayers during this painful time.

Right now, the need is urgent because the funeral home will not move forward until payment is received. I started this fundraiser to help relieve that immediate burden so she can focus on laying her son to rest instead of facing this alone.
