My name is Desiree and I’m the mother of David Holbrook III.
David was born at 26 weeks premature.
David made it all the way till 43 weeks and was doing great, and then made a complete turnaround for not the greatest. David was always so full of smiles and he loved everyone I'm trying to raise money to give my son the best funeral and calling hours and we’re also raising money to give our son the best headstone
while David was in the hospital dad and I were unable to work so we’re just giving our sweet boy the best he deserves
the money will be used to give my son the best falling hours and best funeral and to get my son a headstone thank you everyone
update the rest of the money that is still being donated will go to our precious baby headstone
My son David was born on oct 22 2024,at just 26weeks gestation and weighed 510 grams hehas been fighting ever since. After being born in canton, they transferred to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in December for help with his premature lungs . While he isnt stable, he still relies on a ventilator for breathing support, and despite multiple attempts, he has been unable to wean off. His medical team has told us he may never wean off vent or even make it out of this….
This journey has been incredibly challenging, but David was so resilient. Desiree and davif are beyond grateful to have him and they are doing everything they can to make his NICU life as normal as possible.
At the same time, we were living in Columbus at the Ronald McDonald House to be with david and most of the time they have to eat at the hospital or nearby restaurants. Medical bills have piled up so bad..
