Funeral Services for Xing Chun Rong
Donation protected
On March 4th 2022, my uncle and his wife were walking across the street, abiding by the correct traffic signal, when a man on an e-bike suddenly plowed through a red light and struck them both. The intensity of the force caused them to crash onto the pavement.
My uncle blacked out and upon regaining consciousness, he found his wife, Xing Chun Rong, bleeding profusely from her head. They were both taken to the hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. As for his wife, she was immediately intubated and put on a ventilator as she could not breathe on her own. Due to blood loss, she required multiple blood transfusions and had to be resuscitated numerous times. Her organs began failing and she was not expected to survive. As a result of her severe traumatic brain injury, scans showed no blood flow to the brain and concluded that she was brain dead a few days later. She was taken off life support as there was no longer any life to support. My aunt was only 43 years old.
Our family was not prepared for such an unfortunate event and is looking for assistance with her funeral costs, medical costs, and legal fees. To make things more tragic, due to the ongoing pandemic, her immediate family in China will be unable to say their final goodbyes in person. She leaves behind her husband and their teenage son. We are beyond devastated.
