Funeral & Memorial Service for Vincent Oaks
Vincent, my youngest brother, was only 22 when he passed Tuesday, June 22nd 2021. He was the youngest sibling of five.
In Vincent's last few weeks his father was hospitalized with serious complications due to Covid-19. Just about the time his father was being released from the hospital to recover at home, our mother had to be rushed off to the Hospital with serious covid-19 symptoms.
Our mother was in the ICU fighting for her life, battling Covid-19 and was released to recover at home just six days before Vincent was rushed to the emergency room. Vincent's older brother had found him barely able to stand, drifting in and out of consciousness.
The family had just taken its first sigh of relief having our mother recently released from the hospital when the news of Vincent's condition was delivered.
No one would have expected the next few days with our baby brother would be the last we would have with him. Vincent was admitted to the ICU on Friday and he passed on Tuesday only four short days later.
Vincent was a talented songwriter and musician. A Sweet Soul who silently struggled with mental illness. He found happiness through creating his music. He was strong, quiet and humble. He was a kind and caring young man.
He passed from a brain hemorrhage. It's still unclear what caused it.
Our family is beyond disbelief at Vincent's sudden death, especially our mother. The only request she has given, is that we take the reins and give Vincent a proper burial as she is not strong enough to deal with the aftermath at this point.
Financially we are struggling to pay for the funeral. Vincent's life was cut so short; he deserves a proper funeral and burial with our relatives at Oakwood Memorial in Chatsworth California.
This memorial service is paramount in helping our family find closure with the sudden loss of a wonderful person, our baby brother Vincent only 22 years of age. I have never reached out like this before for help but sometimes asking for help is necessary and this is that time.
