Funeral Services For Timothy C. Vincent
Dear friends - We lost a good one! Tim was everyone’s friend. He spent most of his time helping other people. Whether he was making them smile or laugh through a silly joke or writing a program or fixing their computer, he was always giving!
I met Tim in 1988 through his brother Bruce. Tim and I became friends immediately! We were both immature jokesters. We raced remote control cars together, traveling all over the east coast for events. After we stopped racing RC cars we would make excuses to meet up weekly for a “coffee run”. We’d hop in the car and drive to p-burg for a cup of coffee and drive back. It was our thing, and gave us an excuse to hang out together. Because of the distance between us and Tim’s mobility challenges, our time together became chit chats on the phone. While some may find this in bad taste, Tim was joking with me the day before his most recent surgery that he wouldn’t have a leg to stand on after the surgery. His sense of humor never diminished!!! We made a lot of good memories over the years and I’ll always be thankful for his friendship!
Tim had very little. His family needs help with his burial expenses. Because of the holiday weekend we can’t yet determine what the total cost of Tim’s funeral services will be. I set an estimated target of $4,500 until we know more.
Please give whatever you can. No amount is too small, and every dollar will help! Tim didn’t want anything extravagant, but let’s face it, funeral expenses are pretty steep! Should we be fortunate enough to have money leftover, those funds will go to Tim’s grandchildren.
Thank you in advance for helping, however you can!
