Funeral services for Oscar Martinez.

Hello my name is Christopher Martinez, eldest son of Oscar Martinez and On the afternoon of Saturday February 12th 2022 my father Oscar Martinez was getting ready to take a nap from dialysis when his wife Rachel Martinez had a gut feeling to stay behind and wait for her husband to fall asleep before leaving to run errands. She walked into her room to make sure her husband fell asleep but notice Oscar was sitting upright on the bed and needing help lifting his legs off the floor and into the bed when he started experience a seizure. My mother called her son Jason over to help while she called 911 where they step by step told Jason what to do to perform CPR until paramedics arrived… Oscar was rushed into the ER at St.Francis in Lynwood CA, 90262 where he fought so hard to stay with us and nurses calling the family to tell them that his heart stopped multiple times but nurses and doctors were able to bring him back but nurses told the family that his heart was functioning at 20% capacity.

Nurses were honest with us about our dads condition and said “it’s not looking good and he might not make it past the night” but my dad fought so hard to stay with us so we can hold his hand one last time and tell him how much we love him and what an amazing father/husband/brother/grandfather he is before leaving us for ever on Valentine’s days 02/14/2022 at 7:30pm to be with his parents and brother in the lords kingdom… I’m asking for any donation to help cover the funeral /viewing expenses is really appreciated as my family is going through a hard time right now.
