Funeral Services for Noel Mareposque

Hello everyone, my name is Graciele Mareposque. I am putting up this gofundme to help for my dad's funeral expenses.

I am a college student working two part time jobs and my brother, Edwel, is working two jobs as well. My daily schedule consisted of going to school, work and going to my dad's to set him up for his at-home overnight peritoneal dialysis and prepare him for the night. My brother had the responsibility of driving him to his appointments and continuously checking up on him throughout the day. We were the main providers for my dad's living and medical expenses.

It was a normal day for all of us. My brother was following up on his daily routine on November 13, 2021 and brought him lunch. He called out his name but was not responding. His initial thought was that he was taking a nap. He tried rubbing his legs to wake him up and that's when he realized that he was unconscious. He called 911 to ask for help. I was at work when everything happened and rushed in an uber to get to his house. The paramedics arrived and confirmed his death.

My dad was diagnosed with kidney failure in 2014 and went through dialysis since then. He started doing in-center dialysis, but after a few years, switched over to do in-home dialysis to make it easier for him physically. In November 2020, my dad went through a spine surgery which resulted in a lengthy recovery process. This surgery helped with the compressed nerves in his spinal cord after he had a fall. After his surgery, our dad stayed in the hospital to continue therapy.

Before they can release him, they needed to ensure that he had a place to stay. He couldn't go back to where he was living before his said surgery due to his then new condition. We were forced by the landlord to remove all his belongings and move him somewhere else. With limited time and resources, it was difficult to find a new place for him. After all his treatment in the hospital, my dad was released and got cleared to go home where he can continue with his recovery.

With the sudden death of our dear father, Noel, not only did he leave his 2 loving children behind but also the financial responsibilities that had accumulated, from his medications up to the emergency dispatch calls. With that said, me and my brother now face the biggest and hardest part, to lay our dad to his final rest. We are asking, through your donations, to help us during these really hard time. Anything we will receive is and will be greatly appreciated by my brother and I. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you in advance, for the help and support you give and will be given to our family.
