Anyone who truly knows me, knows I never ask for help. However I am now in a position to humble myself by reaching out to my friends and family in a time of need.
Today my stepdad, Joe Medeiros had a heart attack and unfortunately passed away leaving my mom a widow after nearly 40yrs together. They both have been living ok on social security, but paycheck to paycheck. My mom is now left to not only figure out the funeral services, but what she will do in the next few months to come.
I’m doing my best to figure it all out for her because money and how she will maintain shouldn’t be her focus right now. My hope is to raise enough to help fund the funeral arrangements and help her stay afloat for a few months until my brother, sister and myself can help her figure out where she goes from here and get her into a better living situation that she can maintain.
Any little bit helps and we would be so grateful and thankful for anything at this point.
