Funeral services for my father and WWII Veteran

This message is not easy for me to write as I , much like my father  am not much for words . My father was a great man who served his country faithfully during World War II . During the D-Day  invasion he stormed Normandy. He spent two yrs in the European Theatre of Operations, As a Cpl. Gunner on a 940 MM Anti aircraft gun  . He was in charge of a four man crew giving fire and cease fire orders . Some of his decorations and citations include American Theatre Campaign Medal , 3 Overseas Service Bars , as well as 4 bronze stars .  He is survived by his wife of 43 yrs , 4 children , 4 grandchildren,  and 3 great children. His loss is certainly being felt especially this close to the holidays as well as with the critical state of the world .
