One of my closest friends, a fellow soldier I consider my brother, not just a brother in arms but an actual blood brother, lost his mom unexpectedly on Saturday. The thought of losing someone so close to you is frightening and downright scary.
As we all know funerals can be very expensive and life insurance doesn't cover it all. He is too prideful to ask for help and has no idea I'm making this gofundme account.
I'm asking for a goal of $500 as a token of saying thanks for all you do for this country and to supporting fellow soldiers in the time of need. I'm hoping to raise more but I know times are difficult for a lot of people and asking that you can donate any amount you can.
Thanks in advance for any donations and if prayer is all you can give during this time of grief, then that's a great contribution as well. The funeral and visitation is this Saturday and I'm hoping to raise this money for him on such a short notice.
