Funeral Services for Chelito Calimlim
Dear friends, family, and community,
It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing the passing of my beloved mom, Chelito Calimlim. For those of you who knew her, you knew she was a fighter. Every obstacle that she faced, no matter how horrific and painful, She approached with a smile on her face and love in her heart. In her last years to come, she battled with lymphoma cancer and successfully overcame that obstacle with chemotherapy, faith, and prayer. She was the definition of a "prayer warrior" in human form.
At the age of 65, she later came to another battle and had to have an aortic valve replacement by open heart surgery. My mom fought until the very end, so much, that none of us thought it was the end, yet. She was very devoted to her family, her community, and to her church. During her time with us, she brightened the lives of so many with her sense of humor, love, fashionable presence, and selflessness. To know her, is to know love in its purest form. Heaven has truly gained an angel.
Like so many during this time, we are very devastated. I’m reaching out to you all in hopes that you’ll show your support for Chelito and our family, as we're transitioning into what is the hardest times we've experienced individually and as a family. All funds are intended to provide some financial assistance for medical, viewing, and funeral arrangements.
In advance, from myself and my family, we appreciate you for considering to donate and taking the time to read about my loving mom, aunt, sister and beloved friend. We thank you for all the unconditional love and support that you've shown us and are very thankful to have you in our lives.
