Hello everyone. I am creating this GoFundMe account to see if I can get some help with providing funeral services for my Mom, Barbara. On Saturday, my Mom was found deceased by my Aunt Elaine and her daughters. I last spoke with her on Monday and my Aunt last spoke with her Wednesday. It appears that she fell out of bed and wasn’t able to call anyone. She had significant health problems and lived alone. My Mom was a simple lady and didn’t have a lot. She also did not have any life insurance and as you know, can be expensive. I wouldn’t normally reach out this way but I would like to do the best that I can for her. I will be paying for whatever is remaining. I would appreciate whatever anyone reading this can contribute.
I can remember as a little kid we would watch scary movies together and she would scare me. Probably why I like scary movies so much. My Mom was a hard worker and worked in fast food, hotel maid and even at a car wash. My Mom always wished she would have went to college and was so happy for me when I did. My Mom was 63 when she passed. She loved the ocean and the coast. I would like to be able to purchase a concrete memorial bench to put near her mother’s grave site. Her mother, my grandmother, Beverly passed in 1996’ of Alzheimer’s disease. It was one of the hardest things my Mom went through. In 1984, my Mom married her husband, Jack and in 2005 he also passed. My Mom was heart broken with her losses, but what she truly enjoyed were holidays and she loved me for who I am and the people that have been involved in my life.
