Friends and family,
Sadly, we must say goodbye to our dear brother, uncle, son, and father Dustin Jeffords, who passed away this last Wednesday, on October 12th. Despite his many attempts to overcome it, his battle with drug addiction was ultimately lost and he overdosed. Although this battle plagued most of his adult life, Dustin will be best known for a bigger-than-life, infectious spirit whose flame can never die.
People that knew him only briefly will talk about his humor and fun-loving demeanor. Those that knew him even better will talk about his endless creativity, love of music, and poetry. And those of us that knew him best will talk about his compassion for everyone around him, his warm embrace, and his unmistakeable energy and love of life. Dustin can never be summed up in a short paragraph. You had to experience him to truly understand. Those that felt his light and basked in it, even for a moment, are forever changed and eternally blessed.
Dustin leaves behind two sweet daughters, Jaylee and Dejah. We will miss him with all our hearts.
Given the unexpected nature of Dustin’s passing, we would be so grateful for any contribution, no matter how small, toward his funeral and burial expenses. Thank you!
Dustin’s funeral service will be held 12-4pm on Tues, 10/18 at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church in Colorado as well as a graveside service at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Utah, on Thursday, October 20th at 10am. All friends and family are welcome.
