Funeral Services and Burial Plot Relief Fund

Dear Family, Friends, and Members of the Community,

I am deeply saddened to have to write these words, but yesterday, May 27th, 2022, 16-year-old Joe Hathcock, youngest son of John and Sue Hathcock, tragically passed away. To say that Joes family and friends are devastated by his passing would be an understatement.

If you knew Joe, you’d know how much he touched the lives of everyone around him. He was a truly kind individual that never spoke ill of others, never complained about anything, and was always the first in line to volunteer to help another no matter the task. Well now it’s our turn to give something back to Joe and to his parents John, and Sue, as they deal with the loss of their son

Joe’s death was sudden and unexpected, and his family is not prepared for the high cost of a funeral and burial. Joe should have the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and allow for all of us to say our last goodbyes.

It is with this in mind that I ask you all for donations to help Joe’s parents cover the cost of their son’s funeral and burial expenses. Based on average costs I feel we need to raise $20,000.00 to allow the family to have enough funds to pay for the funeral, funeral expenses, burial, cemetery plot and headstone for Joe.

As the funeral will be in the next few days we don’t have much time to collect the funds so I am asking that we all donate by June 7th, 2022. Anything we can do to help ease the pain and burden in this time of grief will make all the difference.
