Claudia Lopez-Camarena Funeral Donation

On Friday April 3rd, 2020, Claudia Lopez-Camarena passed away at Kaiser Hospital due to complications from her battle with cancer. Claudia was born on May 11th, 1985. She was diagnosed with Clear Cell Sarcoma in her early 30’s, she was only 34 years old at her time of passing. Claudia was daughter of David Lopez and Lourdes Martinez who reside in Oakland, California. She had a passion for furthering her education, and pursued her degree at Mills College in Oakland. She loved cooking, a hobby her and her husband frequently engaged in together. She was an encouraging and compassionate mother to her son and daughter, and was very devoted to her extended family who is mourning this unexpected loss. She leaves behind her husband, Nicholas Camarena, and her two children, Lorenzo and Lisette Camarena. We will remember her always as a loving daughter, a compassionate mother, a devoted wife, and a representation of what beauty this world has to offer.

 Because of Claudia’s terminal diagnosis at an early age, she was unable to qualify for financial planning such as life insurance. Therefore, the family is asking for donations to help pay for funeral/memorial services. Despite her Sarcoma diagnosis, Claudia lived each day to its fullest. We admire her bravery and strength in facing the oppressive times cancer can bring. Her immediate family is shocked at how quickly this situation took a turn for the worst. Any donations made will be directly contributed to her viewing and cremation. We thank you in advance for any donation, no matter what the size!
