Funeral service for Yonas B.Tewolde

         Yonas Brhane Tewolde was born in 1987 in Legin in Zoba Galnefhi and was raised in Merhano. Yonas died on March 7, 2022 after many years of suffering from coronary heart disease in Winnipeg Canada. 

         Our beloved brother was a quiet and friendly person. Yonas, the oldest child in his family, was attacked by this disease at a young age. He was referred to Khartoum, Sudan, in the hope of returning to his family. He was referred to more advanced treatment outside of Africa after his operation in Sudan failed. As he was waiting in Shegerab( refugee camp) for his application to be approved. Unfortunately, his illness worsened, and he returned to Khartoum with the support of certain people who were aware of his situation. Yonas afterwards discovered that his case (documents) had been sold to someone else. 

       Yonas had no one to help or support him in receiving sophisticated medical care. After ten years in Sudan, Yonas was able to secure a five-group sponsorship from a neighbour who was familiar with his condition in Sudan. Finally, in October 2020, he landed in Winnipeg, Canada. 

       After one year in Winnipeg he underwent open heart surgery on february 22,2022. But it was unsuccessful, and passed away on March 7, 2022 at ST.B hospital Winnipeg. We are all heartbroken by Yonas's death, and we have to send his coffin to his family in Eritrea. 

        We are kindly asking for donations to help cover the costs of the services. Any amount will help the family and will be used to send the coffin.

ዝኸበርኩም ኣሕዋትን ኣሓትን

ዮናስ ብርሃነ ተወልደ ብ1987 ኣብ ዓዲ ላጊን ኣብ ንኡስ ዞባ ጋለነፍሒ፡ ኣብ መርሓኖ ዓበየ። ብዘጋጠሞ ናይ ልቢ ሕማም (coronary heart disease) ድሕሪ ብዙሕ ስቅያት ብዕለት 7 መጋቢት 2022 ኣብ ከተማ ዊንፐግ ኣብ ሕክምና (Saint Boniface Hospital) ካናዳ ኣብ መበል 35 ዓመቱ ካብዛ ዓለም ብሞት ተፈለየና ።

እንፈትዎ ዮናስ ሓውና ብስቅ ምባልን፡ ሕውሱን ተዋዛያይን አዩ ዝፍለጥ። ዮናስ ቦኽሪ ገዛ ኮይኑ : ብንእስነቱ ግን ተጠቃዒ እዚ ሕማም ልቢ ስለዝነበረ ‘ሓውዩ ይምለሰና’ ብዝብል ተስፋ ካብ ስድርኡ ንሕክምና ብስደት ተፈልየ። እንተኾነ ግን ኣብ ሱዳን ብዝገበሮ መጥባሕቲ ልቢ ክዕወት ስለዘይከኣለ ንዝለዓለ ሕክምና ናብ ደገ ወጽዩ ክሕከም ብኽኢላታት ሕክምና ተነግሮ። ወረቐቱ ከሳልጥ ናብ ሸገረኣብ ኣብ ዝኸደሉ እዋን ግን ሕማም ልቡ ስለዝገደዶ ብሓገዝ ገበርቲ ሰናይ ናብ ካርቱም ተምልሰ፡ ምስ ተምልሰ ግን እቲ ናቱ ወረቐት ናብ ካልእ ከምዝተሸጠ ተነግሮ። ዮናስ ሓጋዚ ይኹን ወይ ደጋፊ ስለዘይነበሮ ብሰንኪ ጉድለት ዓቅሚ ን10 ዓመት ኣብ ሱዳን ድሕሪ ምጽንሑ፡ ብሓንቲ ኣብ ሱዳን ዝነበረት ጎሮቤቱ ብኩነታቱ ደንጊጻ ግሩፕ 5 ስፓንሰር ፕሮስስ ብምግባር ኣብ ወርሒ ጥቅምቲ ብ2020 ናብ ካናዳ ከተማ ዊኒፔግ ኣእተወቶ።

ስድርኡ ‘ዓዲ ሰብ ኣትዩልና’ዩ፡ ክሓዊ እዩ እንዳበሉ ኣብ ተስፋ ኮለው : እታ ብሰናይ ግብሪ ዘምጽአቶ’ውን ክምሰለላ : ዮናስ ድሕሪ ቡዙሕ መርመራታት ናይ ሕክምና ንምጥባሕቲ ልቢ ብዕለት 22 ለካቲት 2022 ኣተወ : እንተኾነ ከም ፍቃድ እግዚአብሔር መጥባሕቱ ክዕወት ኣይከኣለን : ኣብ ከተማ ዊኒፔግ ብዕለት 7 መጋቢት 2022 ኣብ ሕክምና (Saint Boniface Hospital) ካብዛ ዓለም ብሞት ተፈለየና።እንፈትዎ ሓውና ኣብዛ ሓላፊት ዝኮነት ዓለምና ‘እፎይ’ ኢሉ ከየዕረፈ ብምኻዱ ካልኣይ ሓዘን እዩ።

ዝኸበርኩም ኣሕዋትን ኣሓትን ሬሳ ሓውና ዮናስ ተወልደ ናብ ዓዱ ሃገረ ኤርትራ ክከይድ ስለዝኮነ ኩላትኩም ዓዓቅምኩም ክትብርክቱ ብትሕትና ንላቦ።
