On Wednesday, February 12th, 2020 - a husband, father, brother and friend, Steve Smith took his own life. Steve was born November 29th, 1957. He was 61 years old.There was so much of life he had yet to live- but as the family has leaned into each other they have found comfort in the tender mercies of their loving Heavenly Father. They find comfort in knowing he is still with them. "Steve is a doer" and they have no doubt he's busy 'doing' already on the other side.
This fund has been established to help alleviate some of the burden placed on Stephanie, his loving wife of 41 years with the funeral expenses. Donations of any size can be made in lieu of flowers, as the family has already made arrangements for them at the funeral. All proceeds will be used to help cover the estimate funeral costs of $15,000.
Many have asked to donate; therefore this account and the Steve Smith Memorial fund at America First Credit Union (10767 S Redwood Rd, South Jordan, UT 84095) has been set up.
We will be sure to keep everyone updated as we set dates for the viewing & funeral services to be held for Steve.
