Final Resting Place for Ruth

22 year old Ruth Cortez was a beautiful, brave, selfless, young woman who aspired to be a nurse so she could help others. As the eldest of four children, she took care of her younger siblings so her single mother could work to try to provide for the family. Ruth was born with Sickle Cell Disease, causing her to live in constant pain and spend all of her young life in and out of the hospital. On her most recent hospital stay, she slipped into a coma. Ruth’s mother had to make the excruciating decision of ending Ruth’s suffering by removing her from life support. Ruth’s mother wants to provide her precious daughter with a proper resting place, but cannot afford to do so. By donating, you are not only providing a space for Ruth to rest, but also bringing peace of mind to her mother and younger siblings, as they will be able to visit their beloved Ruth at her proper place of rest.
