Hello everyone, my name is Jesus. I am doing this fundraiser for my mom, Rosa Sanchez. In the last few months, we have been dealing with something personal that led my mom being hospitalized. After numerous visits and tests, my brother and I found out she has stage 4 spinal cancer and only has less than 6 months to live. My mom has been dealing with pain and she refuses chemo therapy because it will only help for a short time since her cancer is spreading throughout her body. Just in a matter of 3 weeks, my mom lost her ability to walk, had a mild stroke, and was in coma for 2 days. Instead of my mom getting better, her health is declining and it hurts me to see my mom like this. Her doctor told me she does not have much time left and to start preparing for funeral arrangements.

My mom is a caring person who always puts others first before herself. Being a single mother of 2, she had obstacles and rough patches that she had to go through, but she never showed it. Instead, she always made sure that everyone was ok. She always had a smile on her face even when times were rough. My 5 year daughter has been asking to see her grandmother, but it breaks my heart when my mom tells me in her weak voice, "I don't want her to see me like this" and starts to cry. Seeing my mom like this hurts me and I just wish my family and I lived closer to be with her more since she does not have that much time left. I am truly thankful that my brother who is there by her side every day and caring for her. My family and I are thankful and appreciate everyone who has reached out to us and want to help with my mother's funeral service. It hurts me that I cannot give my mom a proper funeral service. I decided to create this page to make this possible for my mom and hope this is something that can help for the expenses to make it happen.
