Hi, my name is Ryan Woodford. I’m the son of Roger Woodford. As everyone is aware my father passed away Saturday May 27th 2023 unexpectedly. I’m fundraising for the funeral expenses the family will be incurring. This has been a very difficult time. I’m also not great at asking for help.

My father was the best man I knew. He was simple hearted, honest and selfless. He didn’t need much and never asked for anything only wanted to help others. Everyone knew you could call him and he would do anything for you. Not only would he help you, he would make sure to crack a few jokes to make you smile. My dad loved everything from classic cars, beautiful beaches, a cold coors light and Hokies football. However, the most important thing to him and what he loved most were his friends and family including, and most importantly, his wife Shirley.

Anything donated will be for funeral expenses. We thank all who has reached out and expressed condolences and memories.
