She was born on December 26, 1969 to Gilberto Gonzalez, Jr. and Virginia De Los Santos Gonzalez in Falfurrias, Texas. Maria worked as a Home Health Provider for San Jose Home Health.
Maria is preceded in death by her father; grandson, John Luke Villarreal; paternal grandparents, Gilberto and Olivia Gonzalez, Sr. and maternal grandparents, Marcario and Elida De Los Santos.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories her son, Samuel (D’Andrea Escobar) Garza, Jr. of Pearsall, Texas; daughters, Olivia (Ismael Gonzalez) Davila of Falfurrias and April (Raul Barrientes) Garza of Alice, Texas; mother, Virginia D. Gonzalez of Falfurrias; siblings, Ysidro S. Gonzalez and Maria Teresa Gonzalez both of Falfurrias; her companion, Lonnie Baker of Falfurrias; five grandchildren, Alberto Villarreal, Jr., Colton J. Gonzalez, Karlie R. Villarreal, Cole R. Garza and Anastasia F. Gonzalez; three nephews and one niece.
The family is seeking assistance for the burial costs for Maria and sincerely appreciate any donations made.
