On July 20, 2020, our mother Celestina Rey lost her battle to COVID-19. She was an amazing woman who battled many challenges in her life but always overcame them. She was a strong woman who fought till the very end.

She was a mother of 5 children, Sarah, Jose Jr., Dora, Herminia, and Monica, 18 grandchildren, Jose Jr., Christian, Gabriel, Willie, Katiria, Katalina, Mickey, Sarah, Maria, Adrian, Leila, Isaiah, Kazandra, Cross, Elyse, Seth, Shania, and Mia,18 great-grandchildren. 3 sisters, 2 brothers, and a load of nieces and nephews (way too many to name). 

We want to give her the service she deserves. We will be flying her from Georgia back to New York where she will be laid to rest with her mother in New Jersey. 

The money that we are raising will cover all the costs from the funeral home in Georgia that will prep her, the flight to bring her home, the funeral and casket, the church service, and the cemetery cost. Our family wants to thank each and every person that has offered to help, that has called, texted, emailed, or stopped by to visit. Whatever you can give to help will be very much appreciated. This is a very devastating, unexpected, and very sudden loss.
