Hello everyone, it is with great sadness we share our father has passed on.
He battled with congestive heart failure for many years, but he was a great father throughout it all. Our dad always made us laugh and gave us many joys. He was what we are happy to call an amazing father. He liked to dance and make tacos for everybody during family gatherings. Even when times got tough for him, our dad never failed to help us with anything we needed and continued to make us laugh. We enjoyed spending every moment with him, along with learning all of the many life lessons he would teach us. When his heart started to go out, his body began to go out. He survived multiple heart attacks and strokes, but he was a warrior. We helped him re-learn his letters and animals. As a family, we always worked together, & when he finally remembered everything, he brought tears of joy into our eyes because he was so happy that his kids helped him.
Recently, our dad's heart condition began to worsen. They did blood work and other tests, but he became more forgetful. He fought until the very last minute and was so strong. Our dad's last request was to be home with his family and make one last trip to the beach. We thought we would be able to take him, but my dad passed on the day of his discharge date. Even though we could not take him, our dad will forever be in our hearts and with us in spirit.
We are kindly asking for donations to help cover his funeral service expenses. Any amount donated is very much appreciated.
Thank you,
