Hi there, my name is Brooklyn Simmons, and I am here to raise money to help put towards my daddy’s funeral. A child never thinks this moment will actually hit them until it does. And as I made sure to keep him on medical insurance he did not have any life insurance of any sort. My daddy was a wonderful man and has many many friends and of course family who all loved him dearly.

On December 28th, 2023 my daddy suffered a massive stroke to the brain stem. We held him on life support until we got all the tests we could to get as much clarity of the quality of life for him before making any decisions. We learned that he was blind and would never see again, his state of wakefulness was gone and he would never wake up again, and that his entire body was non functioning, he’d never leave that bed again. We made the decision to allow him to enter his new life. One that was very hard to do. So on January 1st, 2024, at the age of only 56 years old, my daddy went to heaven.
