Funeral & Oversea Transportation for Ariel Sales

Donation protected

Hi, my name is Jewel Sales, and I'm writing on behalf of the Sales family.

We've recently dealt with the sudden tragic loss of our father, Ariel Sales, while we were on vacation in the Philippines. Our dad unexpectedly passed away on Sept. 18th at 67 years old. Now, we are facing thousands of dollars in medical bills, funeral expenses, and transportation back to America for a proper burial. He is survived by his wife, Gloria and four kids, Marielle, Jewel, Michael, and Gabrielle.

Ariel Sales, also known as Papa, is very loved. Going back to the Philippines was always one of his wishes. We witnessed the generosity of his friends and family, who welcomed us back with open arms. We knew Papa was great, but this trip reaffirmed how many people truly loved him. He brought so much light and joy into people's lives. He cared so deeply about everyone, and he was so giving. Papa had a superpower, making everyone feel safe, seen, and loved. He gave everyone hope around him, and he always believed in the person who didn't believe in themselves. Papa was always selfless and put everyone in front of him.

This family trip to the Philippines was meant for our aunt, his sister, who is suffering from Alzheimer's. We were moving her to a beautiful two-story home and two caretakers. After 10 days of joy with him and our family, this trip took an unexpected and horrific turn, and now we are grieving as we have to leave our beloved father behind in the Philippines.

We want to bring Papa back home to America as soon as possible and give him a proper burial in Arizona. Currently, we are up to $13K USD in bills as we hosted a viewing in the Philippines while my siblings and I work together to process his paperwork and arrangements. We never expected to be doing this so soon - it has been a shocking and traumatic experience for all of us as we grieve and navigate through the logistics. With great sadness, we are reaching out to our community for support. If you are able to donate, any little bit helps. A share would mean just as much and is greatly appreciated.

Our mother and youngest sister also depended on our father financially and would need support in making sure they have a safe home to get back on their feet without him.

We want to bring Papa home so our family can finally heal and give him the rest he deserves. Thank you all for your support during the most stressful and unimagineable situation our family has ever encountered. We know Papa is watching over us and guiding us.
