Funeral of Shamsuzzoha Bakis

Hey this is a gathering of funds from Mohamed Abid’s friends and family to put towards the funeral costs for his father Shamsuzzoha Bakis who passed late last night from a heart attack. He was a father and a husband who devoted his time and love towards his family and most of all his son. He will be buried at Washington Memorial Park Cemetery and Janazah service will be tomorrow at Jamaica Muslim Center. Thanks for the love and prayers most of all.

We’ve reached our initial goal for funeral costs of $5000. We want to thank you for all your help. We would like to increase the goal to $10000 to alleviate costs of other current expenses. We were hesitant at first to increase the goal, but we realize the family will be left with a huge financial burden as he is the sole breadwinner of the family. Any donation, no matter how small is greatly appreciated. Although broken, we thank you with all of our hearts.
