My name is Calvin Gregory, and on February 28, 2025, my world changed forever. I lost my brother, Travis Gregory.

Travis battled many health challenges over the years, including diabetes and stage 4 renal failure. Despite his struggles, he remained hopeful he was preparing to start dialysis and had plans to eventually receive a kidney transplant. Sadly, he never got that chance.

For 13 years, Travis and I shared an apartment. We supported each other through life’s ups and downs, and he was more than my brother, he was my closest friend and companion. His passing has left a hole in my heart and in my life.

We were both on disability, and even together, it was difficult to keep up with rent and bills. Without Travis’s share of the expenses, I am no longer able to afford to stay in the place we’ve called home for over a decade. On top of grieving his loss, I am now facing urgent financial and housing challenges.

I created this campaign to honor Travis’s memory, give him the farewell he deserves, and help me secure a safe, stable place to live as I try to rebuild my life after this devastating loss.

Funeral & Burial Costs: Giving Travis the respectful farewell he deserves, including funeral services, burial expenses, and related costs.

Moving Assistance: As a double amputee, I am physically unable to move on my own. Your donations will help cover the cost of hiring movers and safely relocating my belongings.

New Housing Costs: I will need help with the first month’s rent, security deposit, and any move-in fees to secure a new, more affordable apartment.

Immediate Bills: Assistance with this month’s rent and next month’s utilities to prevent eviction and keep the lights on until I can relocate.
