Funeral, Memorial & Travel Costs

It is with tremendous sadness that we share that our beloved Luis has passed away.

On June 18, 2022, Luis Alfredo Perez was getting his daily cardio in with his dog, Romeo, in Woodbridge, VA. A drunken driver unexpectedly and recklessly struck Luis and his dog. Despite life sustaining efforts, Luis and Romeo were taken from us all too soon. The driver was apprehended shortly after the incident and is facing charges.

Luis was the first son, grandson and nephew of his mother’s side. A veteran, avid chess player, and in his 6’4 stature a general giant. He was and continues to be so loved. At only 45, he is survived by his mother Miriam, wife Venus, his brother Danny, his sister Kristy, his nieces and nephew, as well as several cousins.

The family is arranging funeral and memorial costs as well as trying to determine travel costs as many of his family members live in various regions of the country. It is our hope that we can get most of the funeral and memorial costs at a reasonable rate so that as many of his close family members can be there.
