Funeral & Memorial Service for Nathan Rodriguez
Donation protected
On 2/3/2022 Nathan passed peacefully at Huntsville Hospital. About 4 days ago they found the cancer had moved to his brain. About a year ago the doctors informed us that his cancer was back and in his lungs. He was Stage 4 at this time. If you know Nathan you will understand why he made the decision to turn down treatment. He decided he wanted to live his last days the way he wanted with his friends and family. We all know Nathan to have always been a true fighter (lol) and that’s exactly what he did! He lived for nearly a year with Stage 4 cancer, the doctors gave him a month.
It should come as no surprise that Nathan wanted no pity, tears or to be looked at as a “cancer patient”. Which is why he decided to keep his diagnoses more private.
I hope everyone who has known or loved Nathan can find peace in knowing this was not unexpected and he is finally resting peacefully.
Majority of you reading this will know the unfortunate feeling of a loved one passing and having to handle the expense of a proper service. Our family is hoping for the help of our loved ones and friends to provide the expense for the burial he so wanted. Nathan made it clear that he didn’t want to be cremated, he said he wanted to see all of his loved ones and friends come together one time in honor of him.
There is no donation too small and on behalf of my family I thank everyone in advance for the love and support. We simple cannot do it without you all.♥️
To know Nathan was to feel loved by him. He had one of the most free spirits I’ve ever known.
When you’ve got 5 siblings, it hits pretty deep to see that number go down by 1.
We love you Nate Dog, always♥️
